The Challenge

Ghothane Lawyers serves Melbourne’s Nepali and wider South Asian community across migration, family and business law. When this engagement started, consultations ran through a generic contact form, the WordPress admin login had no second layer of protection, and search visibility and social presence hadn’t been actively managed.

The brief I set for my team had three parts:

  • Booking: a booking experience that routes visitors straight to the right consultation type.
  • Security: a more secure WordPress backend.
  • Content: a steady stream of SEO and social content that reflects the brand consistently.

What My Team Did

Booking experience

We built a wireframe homepage and a guided Book Consultation flow: location, meeting type, service, sub-service, then an inline Calendly scheduler tied to the right event for that path. I had the team start with Elementor’s nested tabs, then rebuild it as a single custom HTML/CSS/JS block once we needed full control over transitions, conditional logic and mobile responsiveness. The migration path was expanded to ten sub-services.

Security

We rolled out two-factor authentication (Wordfence Security) on the WordPress login, so a guessed or leaked password alone can’t get an attacker in.

SEO

We installed the Rank Math SEO Business plan, giving full control over how each page appears in search.

Content

My creative team produced static posts, carousels, videos and a newsletter each month, covering visa updates, migration explainers and firm announcements for Facebook and Instagram.

Conclusion

In one quarter, my team and I gave Ghothane Lawyers a more structured, secure and visible online presence. The guided booking flow now routes visitors to the right consultation type, two-factor authentication protects the WordPress login, and Rank Math gives full control over how each page appears in search. On social media, Facebook views grew 329.1% to 242.3K, Instagram reach grew 878.3% to 8.2K, and 56 of 70 creative pieces were published (80%), while website active users rose 48.0% to 8.8K.

The numbers also show where to focus next:

  • Watch impressions as well as clicks. Clicks and average position improved, but impressions fell about 17%.
  • Set up conversion tracking. Traffic grew 48%, yet no key events are recorded, so leads cannot be tied to the site directly.
  • Keep paid and organic separate. Most Facebook messaging contacts came from paid activity, so reporting the two apart keeps the picture honest.

A simple booking journey, a secured website and consistent content gave Ghothane Lawyers a stronger base to build on.

FAQ

What is a law firm digital marketing case study?

A law firm digital marketing case study explains how an agency or marketer planned, carried out and measured a marketing strategy for a specific law firm. It usually covers the challenges, strategy, execution, results and lessons learned.

What should a law firm digital marketing case study include?

A strong case study includes the client’s challenges, marketing goals, strategy, channels used, work delivered, performance data, results, and what still needs improvement.

How do you measure the success of law firm marketing?

Success can be measured with website traffic, organic search clicks and impressions, social media reach and engagement, followers, consultation bookings and leads. The right metrics depend on the firm’s goals.

How does SEO help a law firm?

SEO improves a website’s technical performance, content, page structure and metadata so it appears more often in search results. Over time this can bring more impressions, clicks, enquiries and consultation bookings.

How does social media marketing help law firms?

Social media helps law firms build awareness, share useful information, show expertise and stay visible to their community. Consistent, helpful posts build trust before someone makes an enquiry.

Why does an easy online booking process matter?

People want to book without friction. A clear, guided booking process helps visitors choose the right appointment type quickly and can reduce the number of people who leave before booking.

Why is two-factor authentication important for a law firm website?

Law firm websites hold client-facing forms and booking details. Two-factor authentication adds a second verification step to the login, so a guessed or leaked password alone cannot give an attacker access.

How long does it take to see results from digital marketing?

It depends on the channel, competition, website condition and content quality. Social media engagement can change quickly, while SEO usually needs consistent work over a longer period.

Want Results Like This For Your Firm?

I work with professional-services firms – law, migration, consulting – on the same mix that moved the numbers above: a booking or lead flow that actually converts, a secured WordPress backend, and SEO and social content that stays consistent month over month.
