The Challenge
Accounting is a crowded market in the UAE, and most firms post the same generic content. Map My Books needed business owners to know them and trust them before they needed an accountant.
When we started, the firm faced five problems:
- Low brand recognition against many established accounting firms.
- Complex topics. VAT, payroll rules, transfer pricing and business valuation are hard to explain in a social post.
- Low engagement and reach across its social accounts.
- Little awareness of its services beyond basic bookkeeping.
- Business owners choose an accountant they believe understands UAE rules.
What My Team Did
Educational content on the topics clients ask about
We built the content plan around the questions UAE business owners actually have: VAT, payroll regulations, transfer pricing, business valuation and everyday accounting practice. Each post explained one idea in plain language.
Timely compliance updates
When UAE tax or compliance rules changed, we published short updates so followers saw Map My Books as a reliable source of current information.
Content made for each platform
Rather than posting the same thing everywhere, we adapted each piece: carousels for Instagram and LinkedIn, short educational videos for TikTok and YouTube, and updates and explainers for Facebook.
More posts, posted consistently
We raised output by 31% to 50 posts and kept a steady schedule, so the audience saw the brand regularly.
Better discoverability
We used industry-specific hashtags and messaging aimed at SME owners, so the right people found the content.
